2004 Heating and AC blower issue

For some reason I get a horrible sound coming from under the dash on my passenger side while the heat or AC is on. SO I am pretty sure it is the blower motor to the unit. Is this a known issue with the 04's. I just want to confirm with someone else. I know I am not the only one.

This issue is inter mitten. It comes and goes. Sometimes we can almost make it happen by taking a hard Left turn. Or it sometimes just kicks in while the AC is on. So we turn it off and then turn it back on and it is gone. Any ideas?

Remove the glove box and check the condition of the cabin air filter located just above the A/C blower. When I first got mine it was dark brown and had a hole in it which allowed leaves and an acorn to get into the blower. It sounds like you may have a similar situation.
