2004 Rear Wiper

I rarely use my rear wiper but did turn it on the other day and it does not go all the way back to its starting position it stops about 2-3 inches from being back to its resting spot. I disconnected the battery over night in hopes that a reset would correct the issue but it didn't. Has anyone seen or had this problem? Thanks

Yes! I've experienced the same problem, I'd switch on the rear wiper and before its given a chance to come down I would switch it back off or return the switch back which caused the sudden stoppage. It would drag a for moment and stop. Even when I don't interfere with switching it back off prematurely, the rears still stop short.
