2004 Sequoia dash lights

I recently sold my 2002 4runner and purchased a 2004 Sequoia. It is in very nice condition, but I noticed that on the center dash surround that there is no back lighting for the 4x4 system, hazard switch and rear AC control. Do these light up or do they not have back lighting?

I had to replace the illumination bulbs in my '05 Tundra in that area.

As a matter of fact, I've replaced some in my '08 4Runner, too.

They should illuminate.

Word of advice.
Buy bulb condoms and have them on hand before you start.

You are bound to destroy at least one.
