2004 trailer hitch

My Canadian 2004 V8 SR 5 4Runner came factory equipped with the 7 pin trailer wiring connector as well as a 2" receiver hitch with a rubber plug. The manual indicates that the towing capacity is a maximum of 7000 lbs. The hitch appears to bolt to a rear crossmember with two bolts. Does this seem the common setup for towing this heavy a weight (weight distrivuting hitch required)?

I think its 5000lbs weight carrying and 7000lbs for weight distributing. 7300lbs weight distributing for 2 wheel drive models.

Now they have a double sway bar set-up for weight distribution hitches. Saw it at RV dealer. Lends much more lateral and side to side stability. (supposedly)
