I have looked everywhere in the maintenance manual but it never mention that the V6 4runner requires a timing belt replacement. Is it running on a timing chain?
The V6 03/04 uses a chain, the V8 a belt. The chain has no scheduled maintenance interval. There are other threads on this issue. Try using the search button.
