2005-4 Runner-V6-Limited-High Mileage

Great forums guys!

I have an option of purchasing a 2005 4 Runner V6 limited. But I'm a little concerned about the mileage as it has 202 000 km (126250 miles). All service records are present (serviced at Toyota) and oil changes were done every 5000 miles using regular oil. I guess I have two questions:

1. Should I be concerned with the high mileage? Is there something I need to look out for?

2. How much would you pay for this truck? He is asking $15 000 for it.

I am not to sure on a price but just to give you a range. I have a 03 V8 4x4 runner. All stock mint condition at time of purchase. I got it for 13500. It had 66000 miles when I got it.

What is the condition?

Its a 4X4, and its in pretty good condition. He is also throwing in a set of winter tires and rims so I guess I need to factor that into the cost.

Any concerns on the mileage? I feel that its a little high.
 
Toyotas last forever. The 4Runner is the longest lasting mid size SUV

If you like it and can get it for a price that you think is right, I say go for it!
 
i would say 13k is fair price, i wouldnt hesitate buying one with 126k miles on it. pshh thats nothing on a toyota. haha but if its in good all around condition make an offer on it.
 
Being that it's Canadian (our prices are always higher than our southern neighbours), I'd hope for you that you could get it at $13-ish, but nothing around me would go for that price even with those k's. There's an 03 SE v8 here with 165km's for $15,500. For my area that's a good deal. Being that the one you're looking at is 2 years newer and a Limited I wouldnt' imagine it'd be any lower...
All depends on your area at the end of the day, something like that around here would be higher.
As for your other question, 200km's is nothing for a Toyota. Especially if you could get it in the $13 range I'd jump all over it (if it had a clean carproof). Even at $15 I'd be awfully tempted.
 
Talk about cooincidence, another popped up today around here.

Not much detail but an 03 v8 w/204k's for $15,000. Thought I'd pass on for comparison sakes.

1. It sounds like it was well maintained so high miles isn't an issue. I just bought an '05 with 115k

2. Price is negotiable, I paid 16 for my Limited, V8, all the bells & whistles.
