2005 4runner 4wd service question

I just had my 2005 4runner with the v8 into the shop at 172K and they are recommending a "four wheel drive service" and it talks about a "burnish" (cleaning and deep polish). Anyone had this done or even know what they are taking about and the necessity of it?

Aside from changing gear oil in the front diff, rear diff, and transfer case, there isn't much that actually needs to happen.

Greasing the drive line zerks is also something you can do.

Not sure if I am missing something but that's about all I do.

If they are talking about wire wheeling the frame where the rust is and then painting over it so that it rusts less, I could see that. Otherwise, I don't understand what they are talking about.
