2005 4runner help, mechanic had no answer

2005 toyota 4runner sr5 6 cylinder 4wd 148,000 miles. Shutter to shake at 1300-1600 rpms with light acceleration, all gears even 4wheel drive, nothing to do with gear or speed only rpms. No shutter in neutral or park at same rpms
Everything shifts normal. I have recently replaced the axels, tirods, serpentine belt and shocks and struts

Pull rear shaft, put truck in 4WD and drive

I'm guessing torque converter. When was the last time you changed the sparkplugs? Does it do it with the center diff locked?

That was my first thought.

I have customers all day who tell me their front brakes are grinding when it's actually the rears.
I'm going by common issues; and I don't replace torque converters very much. I do, however replace a driveshaft on a monthly basis for a wobble. 4Runners and Tacomas all day.

Pull the driveshaft. If that's not it, at least you can rule it out.

I'm not doubting anything you said, just if the truck isn't moving so the driveshaft isn't moving I doubt the driveshaft is causing the vibration. EDIT: Though I guess he did say with light acceleration, and if he concluded it's not speed dependent then that would mean it wouldn't matter if he was accelerating, so he kind of contradicted himself...

New to this. So did you did ever find out what was causing the problem?
My 4R just stared doing this recently. I changed the spark plugs and the air filter. Didn't help with the problem.
