My leased 4Runner is now on the market -- as of December 7th, 2007. I will post some digital pictures this weekend (if time permits and my computer is working okay). I have until January 14th to sell it, buy it for the residual value, or let it go back to Toyota. I really like my 4Runner and have not had any trouble with it at all, but it is overbuilt for my kind of driving and I honestly have an urge to get another Mustang GT (which will be my fourth).
It is Titanium Silver with a grey cloth interior, has 4x4 (selectable, not AWD like the V8 models) and is just about to turn 33,000 original miles. It has 17-inch alloy wheels, ABS, fog lamps, A/C, power locks, windows, mirrors, etc., etc; cruise control, AM-FM-CD-Cassette stereo.....as well as the spoiler above the rear hatch, a roof luggage rack, running boards and a power moon roof.
I'm the only driver of this vehicle since it had one mile on it. I am a non-smoking, middle-aged guy who takes very good care of my vehicles. My mileage is probably 60% highway and 40% city, and I never took it off road because I don't want to get it dirty.
:bash:
My 4Runner has had synthetic oil changes (with OEM filters) roughly every 3,000 to 4,000 miles and the fittings/zerks get greased twice every year. I've done my own oil changes, so I am always sure to drain everything out!
:bigok:
I recently had the dealership replace the spark plugs, and have the old ones available for inspection. I put in a new engine air cleaner and the "in cabin" air filter, and will throw another coat of polish on the truck the next sunny day I have off work.
So far, I think a fair price for this truck is $22,000 OBO (much less than stealerships are charging for the same vehicle).
