2005 4Runner SR5 Price

Hello everyone,

I am a newbie and am looking at a 2005 4Runner SR5 4WD in Galactic Gray with 43,700 miles. The only options that I can tell it has are carpet floor mats (big deal) and the towing package. This is a Toyota certified used (CPO) vehicle which was a lease trade-in (one owner).

I am going to look at it today, but what would be a fair price? How much negotiating room is there on a CPO? They are asking about $21,800.

Thanks everyone

I was looking at basically the same vehicle. It was an '05 SR5 4X4 in the same color. It only had 30,000 miles on it. It was listed at $23,000 but I talked them down to $21,000. However, it wasn't CPO. So I would think that you should be able to talk them down to atleast $20,750. I ended up getting an '06, only because the '05 had a little bit more miles than the '06 and the 0'5 smelled like smoke and didn't have a sunroof.

Thanks for the reply! Apparently, this one was not a smoker and there are no stains in the interior.

This is pretty much a basic SR5. I really wanted a sunroof and possibly leather. I guess I could add leather later. They said they could also add a sunroof (not sure how much that would be).

I have never driven one of these, so I was also wondering how bad this thing will drive without XREAS?

thanks

Well I bought a 2006 T4R SR5 4X4 without the XREAS (which comes on the Sport models) and I think the truck drives beautifully. Albeit I have not really pushed my T4R to the limits, but the ride is really smooth and handles very well for an SUV. I am really impressed with its capabilities. I have never driven a T4R Sport model, so I can't really comment on the XREAS, but I can say that the SR5 model is wonderful to drive.

Well, I have a 2005 4Runner on the market. I am asking $22,500 OBO -- but I am in VA and our prices may vary from your market.

2005 SR5 4x4; 33,000 original miles, Titanium Silver in color, power moonroof, rear spoiler, A/C, cloth interior, AM-FM-CD-Cassette, one middle-age, NON-SMOKING driver; well-maintained with synthetic oil changes every 3 to 4 thousand miles since new!

You can see my 4Runner under the "Classified" section of the forum - and I have posted a few pictures of it.

I leased it new and it goes back to Toyota next month (January '08) if I don't sell it privately. If you or anyone else you know might be interested in a clean, well-maintained 4Runner 4x4, e-mail me or send me a PM.

P.S. The frustrating thing is that the dealer is going to take my 4Runner and stick it on their lot for $24,000 or $25,000 after I turn it in.
:bash:

P.S. I work odd hours, so I don't always get my e-mail the same day.

Thanks for the reply. That seems like a reasonable price. Unfortunately, I think I found the one. I just need to await my case settlement and nail down a price.

I wish you luck in selling your T4R.
