Hi - I've had my 2005 4Runner Limited for several years. I recently took out my after-market Pioneer and re-installed the factory JBL headunit.
Everything works - but have noticed that if I turn the vehicle off ... and then back on, the stereo volume is always in the 20's (even though when I turned the car off the volume was low - like 8 or 9). Being in the 20's everytime it starts is somewhat loud - and is a bit annoying.
It's like it forgets what the previous volume level was set to ... and defaults back to something in the 20's. I've also noticed if I change the Base-Treble-Fade, those values get forgotten too.
Any advise on what may be causing this?
