2005 Cupholder? Limited?

Does anyone recognize this cupholder? is it out of a limited? My SR5 cupholder does not look like this at all. Anyone?

I have an '03 Limited, and mine didn't have anything like that. The front cupholders are actually molded as part of the lower center console piece. This piece looks like it may fit into the cup holder area we all have.
May have been designed to fix the slop there is with cans & some bottles in the original setup.

I don't think I'd pay $100 + 13 shipping for it....

:iagree: not woth the price, just put a foam sleeve around the can to fix the slop.

It looks a little like what they did to the 2010 Tacoma cupholders. For those, they got away from the adjustable arm like on the 4th Gen 4Runner and 2005-2009 Tacoma, and instead put in round inserts like the picture. For the Tacoma, it's two pieces instead of one - one piece for each cup. Imagine cutting the pictured piece in half.

This is the first I have seen of anything like this one. It looks to be designed to fit in the 03-05 cupholder slot. Where there is one there are others. Found this one on e-bay and I agree simply not worth 100 dollars, which is precisely why I engaged you guys. Is this out of a taco?? if it fits I will check out local auto recyclers...... Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Guys

Thanks for posting up those links. Cupholders are one area where I think my Civic gets it nearly perfect but the 4runner looks lazy.

I know I'm bringing up a month old thread but did anybody ever figure out the solution to this? When I bought my 05 i didn't get a cup holder attachment and I want one but the cheapest on ebay is $80 while the dealer wants $100. The drink docker looks cool but it looks like it is to be used with an existing cup holder, not the big open space on our 4Runners...

The Drink Docker works great, I have two of them in my 4runner. You need to order the large ones, they fit in the factory drink holder perfectly. They hold any size drink, nothing flops around, they work perfectly... :thumb3:

It's a stretch material that fits over a formed plastic holder. They have a washable foam insert on the bottom that absorbs any condensation.

yea, the cheapest one i found was $80 and included everything. i havent been able to find just that piece yet

I just went with the other one. I cant stand going through bidding on things. I never have time to follow them. Thats why i just do buy it now.
