2005 driver's side door will only lock/unlock manually

I would like to try to solve this problem myself before going to the dealer. All my doors will lock/unlock with the remote fob except for the drivers side, of course! Any suggestions?

This thread has instructions on taking the door apart. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43484 It could be the electrical connection to the box inside the door, or a sticky solenoid in the box. Hope this helps.
