2005 Sport OWNERS...OPTIONS?

Hey guys. Noobie. Owned a 1996 and 1998 4Runner. Now looking to go back to the 2005 Sport Edition. I need some help. Here is what I would like. ANyone can tell me if they have this SAME vehicle.

THis is what I would like

2005 Sport Edition
Galactic Gray Exterior
Charcoal Interior

V6 4x2
No sunroof
DRL
Side and Curtain Airbags
115V outlet
Spoiler

Can I actually get this vehicle LIKE this. I have called AZ dealerships and most in CA and it seems they are telling that this is packaged like a Eatern 4Runner because of the airbag option I want. They have most everything, excpet I have to get the roof and no Side Airbags and curtains?

OPTIONS ON A SPORT

I have an 04 Sport, V8 4x4, with the only option being the side air bags -no sun roof. My local dealer (Toyota of Boone, NC) ordered it for me and it took about two and a half months to get it. He would have ordered the other options you mentioned, if I had wanted them. The fleet mgr at Carson Toyota, in Carson, Ca. (her name is Dianne Whitmere) seems to be pretty cooperative in ordering what people want.

Good luck trying to find that exact vehicle if marketing has determined that no one in your area would want those options. Plus, dealers will always try to sell you what's on the lot. You'll probably have to special order it.

that's not entirely true… all the 2004 Sports i saw (in NJ) had the side airbags… but i guess it depends on the area? who knows…

Most all of the Sport Editions were V8-4X4s when I was looking a couple of months ago.
They all had no sunroof, side air bags, and the JBL 10 speaker, with floor mats and rear spoiler.

In fact that is the way mine is equiped.
I am in Scottsdale.

Most all of the Sport Editions in So Cal seem to have the moon roof and do not come with side impact air bags. I guess that's because we're all great drivers out here and nobody ever gets into accidents. So Cal cars do, however, come standard with bullet-proof glass for these guys - :cannon:
