2005 Sport - Salsa Red Pearl - V8

Had 2 miles on the odo before the test drive.

You can see the paint color in this close up. I think the '8' in the VIN = Hino plant.

I need to Clay Bar, Klasse AIO + SG, and get some pictures outside.



My previous car. 2001 Acura 3.2 Cl Type-S. Not made in Japan.

I'll miss the very supportive heated seats, HIDs, and side-air bags (not that I used them, but nice to have).

I won't miss the vague and questionable transmission and poor visibility. Plus all the scratches, dings, and dents.

The transmission was replaced at 55k. Plus it had a recall.

The car was a magnet for the 'Fast & Furious' type idiots. I guess now I have to deal with domestic suv/truck driving red-necks. But I'm a bit of a red-neck myself.

Thanks everyone. I had a choice between Red or Black. I hope the Red is easier to maintain and clean.

Maybe I should do the NE lift while the suspension is still clean.

Damn you people ... stop buying those salsas...they're mine...all mine!!!!!! A few months ago someone posted a photoshoped salsas at my request and I was the only one who thought it rocked. Now red has become the next silver.

Damn it...guess I'll have to head down to the dealership soon to (cough) upgrade my paint color, engine, etc.

Thanks for the pics! I saw my first 05salsaRed on the road today...I think the jury is still out... I think I might like one, but need to see more before I make that final decision on whether I like it, or would consider a trade in on my 034R for one....

Do you have the 3rd row seat?

How does Toyota make 2005 v8 4x4 weight 6005 lb? where does the extra weight come from? the 3rd roll seat? I know all gx470 comes w/ mandatory optional 3rd row seat to make the car heavier.
