2005 swapped with 07-09 LED Taillights problem

Hey guys.

So I did the swap today. Taillights look good and work when headlights are turned on and when brakes are applied.

The problem is the turn signals and reverse lights don't work. They have fresh bulbs that are OEM spec, I quadruple checked all connections. I sprayed all electric connection points with proper cleaners. Everything is as tight and clean as it's going to be.

But they still aren't working.:frusty::help:

Any one have advice that has had the same or similar issue that wasn't resolved with the above steps?

Turns out I'm just an idiot. I didn't realize the plug from the enclosure to the old enclosure actually twists into the new enclosure, so it's all good now.

Is there a thread, or a picture of what you guys are referring to somewhere on here? I was thinking of doing that conversion at some point too, and thought it was just a straight forward drop in. Are the plug in connectors different?

It's the same connector. The harness plugs into the brake light socket,it's also the junction for the reverse and signal connections. If you don't twist the connector in the turn and reverse bulbs won't function.
