2005 Toyota SR5 4runner

Hey everyone...new to the site here...I just recently bought a used 05 Toyota 4runner and was wondering what the RSCA button on the left hand side of the steering wheel meant? the car didn't come with an owners manual and I haven't received the one I ordered. Could someone please enlighten me on what the heck it is?

Roll-Sensing Curtain Airbags.

When you go off-road, rock crawling, you will want to disable the RSCA to prevent them from deploying by mistake.

You need to hold the button in for 3 seconds to deactivate the RSCA. A light on your dash will illuminate when it is turned off.

I don't think it would be very enjoyable to be crawling and all of a sudden BOOM!, you get whacked in the face with some airbags and have to pay to get new airbags.

2005 paint issue

On the topic of 2005 models can anyone tell me if the white is clear coated or not? I have a white 4runner(bought it new) and after having it detailed today, the guy told me that it had never been clear coated and he had to use compound to bring back the shine. Does anyone have any info on this subject?

All factory paints are two stage clear coat, have been for a long time. Clear coat will dull over time if not waxed, a light compound will bring the gloss back.
