2005 Tundra brake on 96 4RUNNER

I just installed 2005 Tundra front brake caliber and rotors. Everything well went expect when I start driving and use the brake, it vibrates and makes loud grinding noise.

2005 Tundra brake has been sitting in the junk yard for couple years, I cleaned as much as I can with sand papers.

Any suggestion on why it is make grinding noise and vibration when car is moving or braking.

have you tried to jack the truck up, and spin the wheel off the gorund? then have someone slowly step on the brake pedal. is the rotor new? what about the break pads, new or used? you might have something stuck between the pads and rotors.

Did you have the rotors turned before installing them? The vibration is more than likely from that. Also, there could be uneven wear or material on the rotor or pads which would cause the noise. I'd recommend getting the rotors turned to make sure they aren't warped and get new pads to ensure those are good. Both of those should be a minimum expense.

ALSO..
Make sure you are not over torquing your lugs!

I did that on my passenger side and it sounded like the rotors were scraping on the pads.
I retorqued them evenly and BOOM problem solved.

Over tightening will damage the rotors with ease!
