2005 V8... What can I do?

You could try a search

They have different exhaust systems you can put on. Magnaflow, TRD, Gibson, Borla
Also different intake kits and drop in filters. K&N, TRD, True Flow
There is also an air intake spacer (but I don't really believe int he benefits.) AirRaid
Change to different plugs (again, something I don't really see the benifit of, unless your plugs are over 100K miles)

I looked pretty hard into a STS rear mounted turbo system or centrifugal supercharger, but decided that I could spend $4000 other ways, not to mention the extra scratch that I would have to spend on premium fuel.
At this point all you can do is filter, exhaust, and spark plugs (as gay as it may seem I saw a difference with NGK Iridium IX's). K&N should have an intake out for the V8 sometime this year, a guy from the forum just had his '05 V8 into them for testing.
The TRD Supercharger will not fit the 2005 intake manifold/plenum, something about different bolt patterns.Jrunr said:
