2005 V8s--When? Where?

I've tried both of the Toyota dealers in Austin, TX and they are unable to tell me when the 2005 V8s will be available. According to both dealers, I can't even put an order in for one yet.

We're part of the Gulf States Toyota region and, apparently, no V8s are slated to hit this region for at least 45 days (that's how far out the dealers' inventory systems can see).

Has anyone actually purchased an '05 V8 and, if so, what part of the country are you in?

I was told that the V8 4wd will become available in December or January by a couple of dealers in L.A. I wasn't able to place an order either. Some other people mentioned the same thing in the following thread:

I plan on checking with the dealers in late November.
