It looks like your 4Runner is out of the miles and time aspect to buy a factory warranty.
If your dealer didn't offer you a warranty you don't have one. An EXTENDED factory warranty from the original owner is transferable, but only for private party sales.
Don't under any circumstances buy any of these after market warranties that these crocked companies advertise on late night T.V. and radio shows....AND THE INTERNET.

I just got a warranty on my vehicle and you can call this number and the agent Christian Wynder helped me and maybe he can help you too. His number is 800-916-1204. I got a certified plan that i can take it to my dealership and only pay a 100 co pays on repairs, I dont have to pay parts or labor, and I got car rental, it is pretty cheap just payed a dep and 12 mos payments no interest. I am excited I found the vehicle protection center, saving me money since I have to get my fuel pump and timing belt changed which was gonna cost me 1200 plus labor. hope that helps

This sounds like a third party warranty. If it is in fact a third party warranty, your dealer may or may not accept it. Most have gotten burned by many of these companies. So what they (the dealers) require you to do is pay for the repairs and seek your own reimbursement.
These are the various companies that I warned about in my previous post. In addition, it is curious how you have "1 post" to tell us 'how great" this company is.
What is interesting is that when you"google" the number you provided, nothing comes up. This is a "red flag" already. Also, there is not an Internet address listed either for the name you provided. (Yet, another red flag).
