2006 4Runner Limited (V8) 4x2

Hey everyone...

I recently went into the market to buy my 1st car. After test driving and sitting in at least 10 cars in my price range I liked the new 4Runner and the Lexus IS350 the most. After a few weeks of debating with my self I decided to go with the 2006 4Runner mainly because I'm 6'4 and when I was sitting in that Lexus comfortably it became a 3 seater.

I had a hard time finding exactly what I wanted which was a Black Limited V8 with only two wheel drive, but eventually found one. I haggled the salesman at the Toyota dealership for an hour or two and eventually drove home in it with 48 miles on the speedometer. (Funny coincidence... In the end I found out that the owner of the dealership was the father of my 1st girlfriend back from elementary school.)

I've had it for about two weeks now and LOVE it! No regrets at all! I also love your forums. You guys have some great pics and great ideas on how to mod your 4Runner! Sorry for the novel. Here are some pics... More will come once my exhaust comes in.

Congrats on the new 4Runner! You really can't go wrong with either Toyota or Lexus. You definitely have some interesting mods planned. :p

congrats on the rig. I've always liked the 18 inch rims on the limited's. The IS350 is a beautiful car too, but you tow with an IS. Enjoy your ride.

Thanks guys...

I think those mods will make my 4Runner look good with out going over the top don't you think? I also want to think of a couple other ones that maybe haven

Looks good at night... Sorry about the blurry image.

When you mean Xenon light you refer to HID Kits?
What brand are you looking for your Xenon lights?

I ask this because I

expect those aftermarket HID xenon light kit to last anywhere from 1-3yrs. i got a Denso oem HID kit for my 3rd gen, 4100k.

nice ride. are those factory 18" wheel?

Yep... I was amazed they came stock. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. Have you known anyone else who got them stock?
