2006 4Runner Sport V8 - Long Brake Pedal Travel

Hi there,
My mechanic just replaced my two front calipers yesterday as they were seized. They were replaced with AC Delco rebuilt calipers and new pads. I watched him bleed the brakes but my brake pedal is now travelling to far down before the vehicle stops. I told him about it, but he said drive it for a day or two and bring it back if I am still not satisfied.

Could this be a brake bleeding issue? At first he bled them with the engine off, and he noticed the pedal was still not stiff enough, then he started the engine and bled them again but the pedal was the same. Could it be that he did not pump the pedal enough before holding it down and opening the bleeder valve?

Any thoughts or suggestions here would be greatly appreciated.

If the pedal is traveling further down and/or feels softer than before there is air in the line somewhere. Did he use a pressure bleeder? where all four corners done?
