has anyone test-drove it, or even better yet, owns one?
i took a test-drive today and noticed what sounds like a 'flapping noise' coming from the engine. It sounds like a piece of plastic stuck in some moving parts inside the engine room or something.
It's quite apparent under 50 miles, ie. city driving. The noise sort of got buried in highway driving but i'm positive that it's there even in high speed, ie. ~70 miles.
The salesman agreed that it's there. So i'm not imagining or anything.
I test-drove 4 cars today and all seemed to have the same noise, although the degree of noise varied from car to car. I concluded that it's made that way.
but it's kinda weird that toyota would produce a car with such an annoying noise.
