2006 4runner V8 4WD

I'm looking at this vehicle with 90,000mi on it. The V8 runs great. Are there any concerns I should have about this year and engine-tranny combo with all time 4WD?

Not really, pretty bullet proof truck. Check to make sure the 4Lo and diff lock systems engage properly, though dont drive on the pavement with the center diff locked. Also, 90k mi is when the timing belt is supposed to be changed, if its already been done great, if not, figure on adding about $800-1000 to the price of the vehicle to get this mandatory service done.

Search the 4th gen section. This has been discussed many times.

Besides routine maintenance including changing the timing belt and water pump at 90k, you should be good to go if the truck was properly maintained. That truck is just breaking in...
