2006 Center Diff lock comes on by itself/No 4Lo?

Hi, I am new here but have researched a lot to find an answer. My question is: Has anyone had their CDL turn on by itself? Mine has done so twice. It happens when I make a sharp turn, like into a driveway from the street. Happened once when turning right and once when turning left. My CDL switch was off and all of a sudden, the center diff is locked, with the light on in the instrument panel. I am able to stop, straighten out and get it unlocked by backing up in a straight line.

Also, my other problem is that 4lo will not engage. Have tried all solutions like tapping actuator, etc. No luck.any other suggestions?

Almost sounds like a short in the wiring running up to the dash.

Thanks. That sounds plausible. Or, maybe the switch is shorting out. I have tested the diff lock and the CD does function perfectly at other times. Goes into and out of lock mode immediately. If it happens again, I guess I will have to have it checked out. Don't want it to happen to me at 70mph.
