2006 Limited Tire Pressure Warning

I just purchased a 2006 Limited with brand new Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 265\60R18 tires. They are inflated to 35.5psi front and 36.0psi rear. The tire pressure warning light is on either due to malfunction or because pressure is greater than the original recommended 32 psi.
Should I ignore the warning light or have it checked? Can I reset the warning system to prefer 36psi?
What is optimum highway pressure for those tires anyway?

Warning light is probably on because of spare. Can't reset the system for different pressure.

If the tire size is preceeded by a P, run door sticker pressure or a few more, depending on what you like. If, by chance, the tire size is preceeded by LT, run 40-45psi.

Thanks JB. I have read your good posts regarding tire pressure of P versus LT tires (mine are P165\60R18). I will check the spare and run these tires at 35-36psi unless someone advises me to run with lower pressure.

35-36 will give better mpg, steering response, wet traction, and probably wear. 32 would feel slightly softer, that's about it.
