Hello to everyone. First time post here. I traded my 2001 4Runner back in Oct. for a 06 and love it. However, not long after driving it I noticed when I got to 80 mph and up I could hear a low rumble like noise
coming from the center or right side. It seems to also have a very slight vibration.
I took it back to the dealer and they laughed and said "Well don't go 80". They did balance the tires and 3 did not meet the requirements and put 3 new tires on.
Since then the same thing continues to happen. Other than that this 4Runner rides smooth. The dealer is located no place close to a highway to take a Tech for a test drive at that speed. I have owned several Toyota's and this is the first one to have this problem. I cruise at 80-85 on major highways and everybody that rides with me wants to know what the noise is. Is this normal?
