so i couldnt figure out why my rear hatch wasnt opening..so i took it to the dealer to get the latch replaced (yeah, that hurt $$).
anyway..it was my first time taking it to the dealer since buying it (bought it used about a month ago), and the service guy said there was a "recall for the computer" and that they went ahead and replaced it.
on my paper it says "ECM update", and i swear the truck feels different (in a good way!) now. feels like it got a a new life put in it lol. doesn't feel as sluggish/throttle response is better, same with the upshifts/downshifts.
makes me feel a bit better for shelling out the dough for that rear latch lol..
anyone else had this done? and if not, you might want to go to the dealer and check it out.
