2006 Single Disk Radio Questions

What format does the radio require to display the song data when playing a home brewed CD? Would this be the same format the MP3 link would use?

I just got my 4Runner on Saturday, so I'm still trying to figure out all the cool stuff it can do! :dancin:

Just burned a disc last night to try it out. Used Acoustica MP3 CD burner (free trial). Burned 120 MP3s organized in different folders onto a CD-RW and the car displays song name, artist, and album. Very nice.

Interesting, I guess it reads from the ID3 tag?

Oh let me know your findings Theory2! I burned a CD last night it works but the title stuff doesn't work, figure it's something I did wrong.

From what I had read in doing my research only a few CD burning programs support text transfer to disc (Itunes and windows does not). The one I mentioned above was one that did thats why I downloaded the free trial (plus its cheap and good I think I'll buy it). Another program I saw that supports text was Nero. Google Burn MP3 cd text support and you'll get more info.
