2006 Sport V8 Wheel Question

I test drove two sports with the V8 and the Steering wheel viabrated on both, it was as if the tires needed balancing. Does anyone know if all of the V8's do this? If so, what is done to fix this?

Bought my 06 4R V8 30 days ago and it didn't vibrate on the stock Dunlops. For other reasons changed to the Bridgestone Revos and the steering doesn't vibrate on those either. Sounds like a tire/wheel balance issue. Tell the dealer this is a deal breaker unless they can show you one that doesn't. Shows a reason to test drive the one you are going to buy.

I would suspect a few things...one that the tires are unbalanced or because the rig has been sitting for quite some time, that the tires are out of round...just like mine are (truck sat for 2+ months)

The alignment could be off due to shipping.

New 06 Sport 4x4 V8 owner here. I had the vibration problem and it took the dealer and it took two re-balancing attempts to get it pretty much solved. It feels like one of the tires just isn't perfectly round...I will be replacing these with Dueler Revo's in the not too distant future.
