2006 Toyota 4 Runner good deal?

I'm thinking because rotors don't "warp" from sitting. Anywho, she was probably one of those people who drove with both feet and never took the foot off the brake overheating the rotors.

sounds like the same deal i ran across and snagged it quickly before they changed their mind.. 2006 T4r limited, 22,000 miles, all leather heated seats 4x4, moonroof,18inch rims with michelin tires, for $13,500.00.. I would never have been able to afford something like that normally but at that price I'm proud of my new ride.

Were those the TRD rims or aftermarket?

My mechanic told me the rotors was warped possibly from it sitting too long.

possibly from calipers seated on one side too long? the weird thing was that one brake pad on one side wore faster than the other. Anyway, had them replaced and no more shimmy and brakes more responsively.

The warping rotors and uneven pad wear is more likely due to a siezed piston. The lower pistons are known to sieze if it sits parked for long periods. Happened on mine when I bought it. (it sat on the lot for a couple months) You may want to have that checked out before you ruin another set.

FYI, I just had remanufactured calipers installed on both front wheels and that set me back $650 parts/labor.

New Toyota calipers would have cost $480 each, part only.

1) SR5 with leather? Aftermarket?
2) Navigation? Again is this aftermarket?

I'm going to keep them on, in NYC you need it. The other day I had the hood up checking the air filter when I felt a bang and a big jolt. A knucklehead driver trying to park gave it a little too much gas. Good thing I had the rear guard which absorbed the hit.

Man...I'm not sure what I would do to a person who hit my truck parking.

Just yesterday my knucklehead neighbor was out front playing with a hardball with his grandson and missed the catch. The ball hit my truck after a few bounces no damage, but he got a large piece of my mind... :whipping2

Ya keep the bumper guards on. I live in Cali, but whoever thought you could get rear-ended at a drive-thru even though the guy behind you has been sitting there for at least 5 minutes already? Had that happen to me a couple months ago, and I first thought it was a dominoe reaction from an idiot entering the drive-thru too fast or something, but turns out it was the guy behind me who's been sitting there for 5 minutes already.. :gun5:

Another good reason to keep the foot break depressed when parked.

What did that person hit your 4Runner with? If it was a sedan, I would imagine they suffered some damage.

The car that hit me was a Honda Accord. I didn't even check for his damage, I was too busy looking at my bumper to see if there was any to my car. Good thing for the bumper protector, it did it's job.

TRAILER HITCH with 2'' ball.... my bumper protection, its destroyed 2 sedans so far and with how high my 4runner is now, it could go into an engine if the car is low enough
