2006 Toyota 4Runner Radio Light out. Please help

Hello all,
My 2006 4runner radio lights are out. It's totally dark. The radio still works but I cannot see the temperature or other things that are related to the radio screen. Please advice me what to do? Do I have to buy new light bulbs?

I have a similar issue: Was installing a new LED bulb in the hazard light switch, the pliers touched the + and - and now the HVAC, Shifter, 4wd, rear window lights will not come on. The screen for the HVAC still lights up, as well as the arrows on the dials. Can someone please advise on how to fix this?

Four runner lights

We have 2006 and 1/2 half lights went out on radio. Then the other half. How do you fix.. Or is costly..

Just follow those instructions. Get the bulbs from the dealer.

mine's done this before and the next day it was fine. another strange thing, once the display on the radio face went crazy. instead of the radio station being displayed, it was a bunch of unreadable characters. again, next day it was fine.

I've also experienced the problem where the left-hand side of the temperature display was half as dim as the right. Would clear up the next day. Also, my radio display had unreadable characters one day, then cleared up the next! Weird gremlins in there!!:wtf:
