2006 V6 SR5 Tow Package?

When I bought my pre-owned truck, the dealer gave me the invoice specs:
The only "Towing" Accessory is the Weight Carrying Tow Hitch and Ball Mount. Although not on the invoice, I also have the 7 pin wire harness.

Question is: Was there a "tow package" that included the hitch AND OEM tranny cooler, heavy duty battery etc, that was available back then? And, if so, what was included in the tow package?

They all come equipped w/the 7-pin harness and equipped to tow 500/5000lb. They do not have or supposedly need an aux transmission cooler. Many of us have added one, there's a link in my sig.

The only "option" to make it tow ready is the hitch itself.

I got my 05 used and it came with a Reese Trailer brake controller mounted to the lower right side of the steering wheel.
When I was looking I also test drove another '05 sport with the same reese trailer brake controller in the same spot.
My friend has a 04 Limited v8 and it also has the same trailer brake controller mounted in the same spot.

im thinking maybe a dealer installed option?

I believe the V8 towing package included the trans cooler, and the weight distribution capable hitch. The V6 only came with the weight carrying tow hitch, and didn't get the trans cooler. You can upgrade the V6 hitch to a weight distribution unit with an aftermarket unit from several sources, and a trans cooler is also an aftermarket upgrade option if you want.
