Battery 3 months old and issue is same with 1000amp jump box connected?

Dont think its battery related.

Why do you think so?

I don't agree with how confident Run-4-Life is, but to his point, you may want to get the CCA's tested just to isolate the issue away from the battery.

You will likely find the issue between the battery itself or the wiring off the terminals/posts on the terminals. I know that isn't much of an isolation, but it is what it is. Life could be worse (i.e a bad starter). You could in theory validate this quicker if you are failing to jump start from another vehicle's battery.

The click you hear is the starter solenoid clicking on, the starter is not getting enough current to spin the motor, could be power side or ground side (Direct quote from [MENTION=14772]shootmymime[/MENTION]).

Battery voltage fine, battery 3 months old. Terminals clean. Same issue with jump box connected. All other electronics work fine.

I'd definitely try the jump start, if that does work then I would have the battery tested further.
 
Charged battery for and hour and it started, good news. Had to go out so shut it down and put on slow charge and when I got home hours later charger said that I have a fault in one cell of battery.

New battery installed and hope its good to go.

You should also check your terminals on your starter, make sure they are not corroding, if they are clean them.. Seems to be a problem on our 4th gen 4runners, more so with the v8 from what I read online.

Kinda hard to get to isn't it? Being under the intake manifold and all.
 
I recently had a battery go bad on me in only 3 months. It failed diagnostic test and was replaced under warranty.
