2007 4 Runner

I only have 63,000 miles on my 2007 4Runner still have orig front and rear brakes anyone else go beyond this ?

Trying to figure out what maintenance to do I ask 3 people get 3 dif answers on this:

Transmission fluid ?
Differential ?
Spark Plugs ?
Brake pads replaced ?

Any feedback appreciated thanks !

My front brakes made it to 93K before i changed them out. Rear brakes still original at 96k,

Top 3 for sure ! Got someone you trust for brakes ? Should be able to look at them & see if you have more than 50% left , if not replace oem & have rotors turned .

Just changed mine last weekend at 85k. Original front and rear pads.

Brakes should start to 'squeal' when they get close to needing replacment. They have an indicator built onto the pad that will start to squeal when it comes into contact with the rotor. Therefore letting you know you are getting close to the end of the pad life. Even then you still have a ways to go.

If it were me I'd do Tranny and Diff(s)/xfer case (not sure if you are 4wd) and you can check plugs too.

Here is a good link to a DIY transmission flush. This is on an earlier model 4Runner but the principal is the same. Disconnect the transmission fluid return line from the radiator, run the truck for a few, let 1 or 2 qts pump out. Turn off truck add fluid, repeat until fluid comes out clean.

Use steps 1,2,3 then skip to 37 and finish out.

2007 4Runner went 84,000 miles before someone ran the red and totalled it. Brakes checked at 77,000 miles and still had 65% left. Depends on what kind of driving you do....but Toyota's are built to last!

2007 4R SR5 v8 with 107K still with the orginal brakes.... last inspection showed 60-65% remaining
