Not super-convinced that's the same truck. He bought that with 67k back in 09. That would mean it went backwards in mileage. Also, the thread on T120 shows the hood scoop evolving to a long scoop almost at the front of the hood and being painted red. The VIN decode will tell the year model with certainty, too.

In any event, the more I think about it, the more this is a solid PASS.

OP, look at Carmax, Auction Direct, the 5 Closest Yota Dealers, the 10 biggest used truck dealers, Cars.com, Autotrader.com, and Ebay. This combination yielded the truck I bought within 1 week, and the listing existed on Cars.com and Autotrader. It was a dealer within 45 miles that had 4 of them. I went and drove them and bought the one I wanted.

If the above method doesn't work now, wait a couple weeks and do it again. Patience is key!

Nope, not the same T4R. The one in the Craigslist add is a 2007 vs. the 2005 owned by one "Tigerwong58". Not to mention that the '07 is in Houston and the '05 is in Missouri. I'm also pretty sure that the one in the Craigslist add is a V6. Regardless, I'd still steer clear of the Craigslist T4R. It's clearly shrouded in BS.

For everyone's amusement, I thought I'd share the final text messages I exchanged with the seller before walking away (which includes the full VIN, which I didn't even bother looking into at this point). Thanks for everyone's input into this thread.
