2007 Drive Train Vibration

I'm hoping someone can give me a little direction before I head off to a repair shop. A couple weeks ago out of no where, I started noticing a pretty significant vibration which feels like its coming from the tranny. It occurs when I reach about 30-35 mph when in Drive. Days later, I had to put new tires on an dhoped it was a tire issue. It wasn't. I tried powering up in 4th gear to see if there is a difference and there is - no vibration! I have now been powering up in 4th and once I get over 35 mph I shift to drive. This seems to take care of the issue but I know its only temporary. Yesterday I noiticed that the vibration occurs around 25 mph and 30-35 when in drive.

Any ideas what this could be? Please not a tranny. Rob

my guess is it maybe a bad u joint, sometimes greasing it can mask it for awhile, try that before heading to a shop.

Yup, if it goes away when accelerating in 4th, probably rumble strip issue.

Try a few drain and fills in the trans using Toyota WS fluid. It helped 70% in mine.
