Did you ever wonder what a Toyota 4Runner would look like with an FJ Cruiser front end? Well, nobody else did either, but this is SEMA so the obvious ideas are not always the ones that get built. That said, Toyota did a pretty good job of blending its two truck-based SUVs. Don't like the way the back opens up. Otherwise, it's just OK. I never was a fan of the FJ cuz it looks like a matchbox car.

Yeah, actually I saw that on autoblog.com earlier this week and when I saw it I was impressed for sure. I thought it was pretty cool. I'm digg'n the tires. I like to see more pictures, specifically the interior. Personally I think it's great.

Yes, I think the real FJ is pretty much butt ugly, and of course I absolutely love the looks of the 4Runner, so meshing the two together cannot possibly result in something attractive to me!

It is interesting to look at though... I'll admit that!

You know what they say about mutts. I'm not feelin it, but then again I think all FJ's are fugly. Maybe if they left the 4runner front on, it be a different story.

I agree totally. I think the FJs are ugly but this does make it more palatable to me.

I actually like some of it. I'd keep the hood (looks better IMHO than the current Sport scoop) and lights. Tame down the wheels, lower body items and keep the current hatch. I hope Toy is listening.

Ehh...I dont like it. I like the FJ and of course the 4runner, but not together. The rear tailgate just looks weird and the color doesnt help either.

I'm kinda surprised they didn' put a FJ Cruise style roof rack on it. The one they have looks incredibly lame and cheap. It looks like it was made in the hardware aisle in Home Depot.

Maybe it will be called the "FJ4R" digging the 4 doors too.

Maybe it would return the 4Runner a little closer to it's off roading roots with a little more clearance,rear locker and even a manual tranny.

If they wantet cool FJ/4R hybrid they should of put FJ's interior into 4Runner and left 4R exterior alone.
