2007 Limited Power Steering Fluid ?

Went to the garage, noticed I was a bit below the full line on the coolant resevior (never added in 50K) and then checked the level of the power steering res.

It is filled correctly, BUT it looks green.....and always has since new. The manual calls for Dextron II or III, but the factory fill does not smell like that.

What fluid is recommended? It couldn't be the red stuff......no way.

I noticed the same thing. I use Valvoline synthetic power steering fluid from any chain auto parts store. It's straw colored and seems to work great. I'm sure Dexron would be ok too.
