was there any changes made for this 2 yrs? I know the look still the same but how about the interior of the car? what the pricing for a 08-09 limited V8 @33k-50K miles cost? there's few around 66K miles listed for $33K and that i paid for my 5th gen. i'm decided to down grade to 4th gen to meet towing power and other needs. any input would greatly apreciated.

There was no V8 option for the '09 model year and there was the addition of the Trail Edition trim.

To give you an idea, I bought my 08 Limited with 18K miles, back at the first of the year, for $30K. Hope that helps, good luck on your search!

I bought my 08 limited in January w/ 40k miles for 29k. I think I could've gotten a better deal if I hadn't drove to the dealership in my RWD g35 with snow on the ground (they new I needed a truck)

Thanks Husker Z. I didn't see any lower than 18K miles for 08 around here. some around 55K miles and asking price between $30 to $33. and hardly see any 09 out there for sale.

on Edmund.com it mention 09 has either V6 or V8 and some of you stated no V8 for 09. now i'm confuse.

Toyota 4Runner History 2009 -- dropping the V8 option is NOT listed for 2009 model year. The V8 didn't vamboose until the 5th generation debuted in 2010.

Well guess I was wrong, haven't seen a single one come into our dealership yet and all the '09 I ever saw were 1GR-FE's. Well you know what they say about assuming! :lol:
