2008 4Runner - Instrument panel Removal?

HI All~

I own a 2008 4Runner, NON-JBL

Will someone please post or send me the literature on removing the instrument panel and shifer panel to install an aftermarket stereo?


Also, where do 4gen owners run their wires into the engine bay? More specifically, where is the hole located in the firewall that one can run all of their accessory wires into?

Note: In the attached instructions, it is not necessary to reomve the panel below the steering column. Once the panel is loose, use a socket and extension to reach the bolt holding the left side of the center panel (the gold one in this image). Leave the 1st panel in place.
