2008 Grille/Bull Bar

Anyone know of a good grille guard or bull bar out there for a 2008 Runner?

I am picking up my 08 V8 Limited on Monday! I am thinking either the westin sportsman or WAAG.. Not sure..they are both clearly excellent products...just need to figure out whats better..

Anyone have a WAAG guard?

It's hard to find, but T&H Low bullbar, replaced by the Eurotech or the Strona Low bullbar (who makes the T&H). It's not as bulky as a full brush guard. But keep in mine either, bullbar or brush guard will give you any protection in a higher speed impact and will possibly cause more damage. It'll help save some paint on your bumper from people who park by "feel". Also, bullbars and brushguards will hamper your approach angles if you ever go off road. A steel replacement bumper like a Shrockworks or ARB would be much better. (I like the looks of the Shrockworks more.)

I like the thread, I've been looking around at these.

I really like those bull bars but I like the function of the full brush guard, namely headlight protection (those aren't cheap to replace), and if you ever hit something (like a deer) out in the middle of no where you might save your radiator and be able to get home.

It may reduce your approach angle, but without it you scrape up your plastic bumper (like I did). I'm in the market for a bull bar in the short term. Eventually I will get a Schrockworks when I stop using the 4Runner as a daily driver.

nice, this is a good thread. cause i am on the fence too. i do not off-road so its more of a cosmetic thing and to prevent those 'dry by feel' drivers mentioned earlier. [even though i usually back in]
so if anyone has them please post pics so we can all compare.

If you are in the market for Schrockworks, who cares if you scrape up your plastic bumper?

Also, I would rather scrape up my bumpers a bit (which they are) in comparison to giving up all that approach angle.

My personal opinion ( no offence to anyone ) but bull bars make the front end look to heavy , bulky and low to the ground , they make approach angles even worse.

I like the Westin Safari bar better , not so bulky if you choose to go that route , holds 2 lights.
