You should use the H9 bulb to replace the H11 low beam, and use HIR-1 ( 9011 ) to replace the 9005/HB3 hi beam.

I can see why he had an issue with using the 9006 as a replacement for the H11. The filament in the H11 is in a different position than the filament in the 9006 so it would cause problems in the projector as the light would not be focused properly. The filament in the H9 is in the same location as the H11.

thanks, that makes sense, i just wonder why he didnt suggest the H9 instead of the osram NB +90 , although they are alot better than stock. oh well, next time.

Well at least the Nightbreakers are plug n' play. No work with a dremel tool required as there is with the H9 bulbs.
