2008 Limited V-8 4x4 35k miles service musts?

2008 Limited V-8 4x4 35k mile service ?'s

Have really low mileage on this thing and don't really engage the 4x4 too often. I change the oil, rotate tires, clean/change air filters etc..on the recommended schedule but now that I'm over 30k miles, wasn't sure what other items are a must. I'm assuming I need to flush out the tranny/radiator, what about the differential fluid at this stage?

I didn't want to just take it into a Toyota dealership and ask "what do I need" just to have them rip me off so I'd like to just take it somewhere and have the needed things done.

Believe tranny fluid flush is never according to scheduled maintenance and coolant is once every 100K miles.

Edit: BTW, you're always in 4x4.

At 35K miles there really is a whole lot to do. I'd take a look at your service manual that came with the car a see what needs to be done. Spells it out very easily.

Agree....tranny is way down the mileage line in terms of service unless you are going by the heavy duty or severe service schedule which says to look/replace/adjust things earlier than the normal maintenance schedule. When you do come up to service items due to mileage or time, look at replacing the Toyota fluids with a better brand/synthetic which in most cases out performs whatever they use from the factory. I run AMSOIL in everything except the Trans....it has a WS (world standard) fluid they use in my 2004 V8, check to see what your trans has for that year. Other than that...gas n go!
