I'm wondering if anyone knows if the 2008 4Runner SE (Sport) will continue to come with the Dunlop AT20's ?
I've read a few bad reviews on this site about them.
How do these tires handle in winter conditions?
Anybody buy snow tires for winter?

The Duflops are not the best tire on the market and they are the least rated tires of the three that come on the 4Runner but they are an average performing tire. The 4Runner is one of the most solid SUVs concerning stability and traction, on the market. Due to this, you could have baloney skins on the 4Runner and you will get traction. The Dunflops will give you decent/average performance, for what they are worth.

On the cover the 2008 brochure for 4runner, they show a V8 Sport edition. It also has the standard Dunlop Grand Trek tires on it.

tire swap at dealer?

Has anyone tried getting the dealer to swap the Dunlop's for a different tire? or would a stea...dealer not do that?

Of course they'll do it. They'll charge you or just use discount they can give you regardless of tires to pay for it, but they'll do it. No mystery tire money!
