Is it just me, or is this the 23rd Trail Edition thread in a week? :bash:
Just trying to save time. If I knew the answer, I would be happy to answer it. If you don't like the thread, ignore it.

Yes...and the only trail edition for 4th gen.
Thanks. Unless a great deal on a 2010 or 2011 magically appear, I will focus on finding a 2009. Don't know if there will be a premium or not. On the one hand, it is a rare beast. On the other, a fairly small subset of people will want it....

That thing was released at the height of economic recession. Not too many have it. And those who have them, are well versed about 4Runners and bought it for being the only 4th gen with rear locker....IMO they are still happy with it:surfer:

Thanks for the tip borgzman. I assume by size you mean that the 5th generation is a larger truck, which could be a problem offroad. There seem to be a few 2009 trailss around, but not many. I am not in a rush. Wish me luck.

There is one for sale recently...only 11k miles...search my recent posts. GL.
Found it, thanks. At $30,000 and 11,000 miles, probably fairly legit priced. I am about to travel cross country. There is also one in MI, more miles, but cheaper. May check that one out first.
