2009 4Runner sales???

I wonder where they are? Does anyone know?

I couldn't help, but notice that the local paper has 0 ads in it for 4Runners. None for the last couple of months. In Conusmer Reports they test some mid size SUV's in the July issue and they show the comparision to other SUV's. The 4Runner is not even listed.

I know sales must of dropped off, but I am wondering, have they dropped off the side of a cliff? Maybe a full frame SUV will be come "rare"????

I searched around Houston Texas area and found ZERO '09 4runner SR5 with Trail Edition package.

Even here in Canada, there is no advertisement for the 09 4Runner. I've never seen them on any dealer lots either.

Read the Drudge Report today for a link to an interesting article about SUV sales.

They are way up. Dealers are out of them. Going for list price. Used ones are way up in price too.

Fear that the ban is coming. The heck with high gas prices we want our SUV's.

When I bought my 09 Trail Edition in March, my dealer had 2 TEs the week before, and no other 09's. I have seen several 08 Urban Runners on one lot in Elk Grove, CA, but no other TEs, and almost no 09s of any sort at dealers around Sacramento.

New 09's are around the Chicago area, but in very small quantities. They don't seem to stay on the lot long.

i don't know what the h3ll they're doing!! i went into my dealership to look into buying one. i was seriously considering one. The guy told me they were offering 9% 4runner financing and wouldn't move on it.

it's like they don't care... Last year to get one before they get *really* ugly too
