2009 4Runner Trail Edition

Hey gang,
I finally decided on which 4Runner to buy. I know they are hard to come by but I have a Buddy who can search the country for one for me. It will take awhile I'm am sure.
My question is what should I have him look for and what are some experiences you have had when seeking a 4Runnerbyou we're looking for?

Low mileage, as rust free as possible and complete and clean maintenance records.

X2 on what the previous poster said. It took me 3 years of hounding the owner of an 09 TE to finally buy it. She leased it from the dealer and bought it at the end of the lease. Had full records of service from the dealer and only had 39k miles when I bought it earlier this summer.

It took forever and cost me a pretty penny, but I nabbed the silver TE that I was lusting over. Best of luck in your search.

its hard to search for when most places dont list them as a trail edition. also i dont think kbb or auto trader show a trail edition option so its hard to search for or get a price to compare to.
