2009 Sport Edition V6 121K miles 1 owner Value?

I have a 5th gen for myself, but always wanted a Shadow Mica 4th gen. Looking at one for my daughter...

Opinions on value? I am in NC but appreciate all input for all regions.

Clean carfax, 1 owner, no rust southern vehicle. 2009 Sport edition Shadow Mica V6 121K miles. Bone stock.

$9-$12k, depending on condition. bring it to toyota for a pre-purchase inspection. beware the XREAS system.

I think it partly depends on the location as well. For example, I saw a clean example with same specs go for about 14K here in Chicago.

If it's in good condition all around...that car would go for $13K+ all day around here in Denver and Salt Lake. There are quite a few higher mileage facelift 4Runners that still go in the high $10Ks.

I'm jealous, my friend has that color and I really like it! The one you're looking at probably doesn't have hail damage either! hwell:

I'm not surprised they are asking that much at all. There's an '08 V8 with 302k miles here in town at the local Toyota dealership and they are asking for $12.5! Seems like the resell value/mark-up on 4th Gens has gone up a lot in the last 12 months.

dealer: $11-$12k. depends on cosmetic condition, and mechanical history and needs (not wants). keep in mind stuff starts needing replacement after 150k, so factor that in.

Paid $12.5k for my 08 SR5 4x4 Shadow mica w/102k in Dallas back in 2016 at a dealership.

At that time i felt like i had over paid, now I dont have any regrets. It sits at 152k now.

That’s too much! Does it have records? I just purchased my 2005 V8 limited 4x4 that recently had timing belt done with records. At the time it had 145k miles and I paid $12.5k in California where these things hold there value.

That dealer is asking too much. Currently there is a used car shortage, causing dealers to pay more at auctions to buy vehicles. But prices haven't risen THAT much. At the moment something in the high $13k to low $14K range would be in line with values I've seen in the Southeast.
